Master Teresa Throckmorton
Born June 30, 1968 in Virginia, Master Throckmorton has lived in New York since 1993. She began her Taekwondo training January 1994 with Masters Whang and received her 1st Dan Black Belt in November 1996, her 2nd Dan in June 1999, her 3rd Dan in 2005 and her 4th Dan in 2009. Master Throckmorton graduated from George Mason University in 1991. After moving to New York, she worked at the American Museum of Natural History. She has been teaching at West Side since February 1997, is the Head of Women’s programs and teaches the popular Cardio Kick classes. She is married with 2 boys (Caden and Jaron) and a daughter (Dagan).
