Mrs. Sue Etkin
Born in New York City, Mrs. Etkin began her Taekwondo training with son Scott in 1998, and earned her 1st Dan Black Belt in 2002, and her 2nd Dan Black Belt in 2006. She has competed in State and National competitions. In addition to teaching, Sue is West Side’s tournament coordinator. Professionally, Sue is Senior Vice President of Harris McCully Associates, a human capital management firm . She graduated with a BSN, magna cum laude from Georgetown University and an MPA from New York University. Sue shares the distinction, with her 14 year-old son Scott, of being the only “mother-son” at West Side to test and receive their 1st and 2nd Dan Black Belts together.
