Mr. Carl Desir
Mr. Desir was born in New Haven, Connecticut, on August 5th, 1982. He grew up in the suburbs of New Haven and attended Harvard University where he majored in economics. Carl started Taekwondo at Harvard in 2001, under Master Peter Lee, and has since earned his 1st (2004), 2nd (2005) and 3rd (2007) Dans. While at Harvard he served as Tournament Director and President of the Harvard Taekwondo Club. He has competed in state and national competitions but is now shifting his focus to demonstration kicks. In addition to Taekwondo, Carl also enjoys basketball, paintball and soccer. He is an account planner working on Sour Patch Kids, Swedish Fish, HALLS and Nokia at the advertising company JWT.
