Elizabeth Brady summed up their experience like this:
“The team of people who prepared and led them were phenomenal! Master Lim set the stage with his amazing pre-tournament workouts and coaching. Christina’s leadership was powerful and inspiring and Maggie loved having Christina as her sparring coach. Sue Etkin is the coordinator extraordinaire and was also able to provide some much need emotional support for this Type A mother. Adolfo was terrific with Patrick who never stops talking about the great strategies that Adolfo comes up with for him. Finally, Scott provided the ultimate roll model for the entire team in his generous support of his teammates and his remarkable focus for his own event.
P.S. Special thank you also to Derek, Sean, Spencer and Ryan for helping the team prepare to spar at the tournament.”
And speaking of competition on the international stage: Master Chinedum Osuji (aka “TNT from T&T with a Ph.D. from MIT”) wins Bronze at Pan Am Games in Brazil!!!
