Promotion Test Results:
We held our first promotion test at our new permanent location on June 2 (Sat) and June 5 (Tue), 2007! It was a great test with great performances from all candidates, highlighted by Julian Fox-Winokur’s spectacular board break (earning him his provisionary Black Belt! See photo courtesy of Ruth Tavor, mother of Tom Fogle, perfectly capturing the moment) and Pippa Stevens’ inspiring Black Belt test.

Tournament Results:
On Saturday, May 12, TEAM WEST SIDE (Suzanna Yates, Will Shipley, Patrick Brady, Maggie Brady, David Marin, Scott Etkin and Spencer Hadel) proudly represented West Side Taekwondo at the 2007 New York State Taekwondo Federation Championships and brought home 10 medals! Congratulations, and great job to all, including our Coaching Staff and Coordinators Christina Park, Joh Willey, Sue Etkin and, of course, our parents!!! Next stop: Junior Olympics in California!!!
